The Role

  • Reporting to the Finance Director_


We are looking to recruit an organised, trustworthy and motivated individual to work as a Part Time Accounts Assistant within our Finance Department.

This is a shared role which will cover Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger. Other duties will include dealing with expense claims, general office support and admin where needed.


Key Skills:
Previous Accounts experience and knowledge of Sage Accounts 50 desirable

Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Good time management

Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team


Duties will include:

  • Sales Ledger_
Dealing with Customer POD Requests

Sales Invoicing

Customer Statements

Customer Invoice Queries

Maintaining Customer Records

Customer Receipts

  • Purchase Ledger_
Matching, Checking and Processing Supplier Invoices on Orderwise and Sage

Reconciliation of Supplier Statements

Resolving Supplier Queries

Maintaining Supplier Records

  • Expenses_
Business Expense processing, analysis, checking and posting to Sage

Reconciling Company Credit Card Statements

  • Other_
General Office Support and Admin

Ad hoc duties as required by the Company from time to time
