Position Overview:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you have the skills and dedication to engage with them on a one-to-one basis, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Oxfordshire team as a One-to-One Practitioner.

Responsibilities:

Conduct onetoone outreach sessions with children and young people, addressing their specific needs and goals.
Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to help them overcome challenges and develop life skills.
Develop and implement individualised plans to assist each child in achieving their goals.
Build positive relationships with the children and their families or caregivers.
Monitor and document progress, ensuring that outcomes are met and reported as necessary.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Stay uptodate on best practices and trends in supporting children and young people with SEND / Mental Health

Qualifications:

A passion for working with children and young people.
Experience in youth work, social work, or a related field is highly desirable.
Qualifications relevant to the role (minimum Level 3)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathy, patience, and a nonjudgemental approach.
Understanding of the challenges faced by children and young people in today's world.
A commitment to promoting positive change and brighter futures for our participants.
