Position Overview:


Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you have the skills and dedication to engage with them on a one-to-one basis, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Oxfordshire team as a One-to-One Practitioner.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct onetoone outreach sessions with children and young people, addressing their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to help them overcome challenges and develop life skills.
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to assist each child in achieving their goals.
  • Build positive relationships with the children and their families or caregivers.
  • Monitor and document progress, ensuring that outcomes are met and reported as necessary.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Stay uptodate on best practices and trends in supporting children and young people with SEND / Mental Health

Qualifications:


  • A passion for working with children and young people.
  • Experience in youth work, social work, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications relevant to the role (minimum Level 3)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a nonjudgemental approach.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by children and young people in today's world.
  • A commitment to promoting positive change and brighter futures for our participants.

£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
