Key responsibilities will include:

Health & Safety

To carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner whilst complying with the relevant statutory and Company Health and Safety regulations.
Ensure equipment is correctly isolated prior to starting work and left in a safe situation if work continues beyond the end of shift by means of isolation procedure.

Production/Maintenance/Breakdowns:

To investigate, diagnose and resolve plant issues in a logical, methodical and professional way.
To support the production process following resolution to ensure efficient and effective running is maintained following the resolution.
To ensure efficient plant operations using the machinery asset care system.

Continuous Improvement:

To work proactively to stabilise or improve line performance on a Continuous Improvement basis.

Maintenance:

To investigate, diagnose and resolve plant issues in a logical, methodical and professional way.
Routine tasks shall be undertaken without the need for instruction.
A clean as you go approach when undertaking maintenance tasks.
Be able to plan corrective actions around production demands.

Services Running Check:

To work in an accurate, efficient and costeffective manner in order to meet production schedules.
These are to ensure that both production is possible and that includes running the machines when necessary.

Quality

It is the responsibility of everyone to ensure that product quality is not compromised during engineering activities and that access to packaging sensitive areas e.g. the fillers, is completed as per currently company policies.
