Description
To deliver and implement clinical education programmes and professional development programmes for the clinical workforce.

Reporting into the Lead Clinical Practice Educator (and Clinical Education team), This role will design and facilitate in-house clinical training required for the workforce to practice safely.

The post holder will do this through the facilitation of formal and informal learning, classroom teaching, working with staff in clinical practice and supporting clinical teams to develop practice.

The post holder will also act as a role model in clinical practice.


To act as a clinical / educational resource to all members of the multidisciplinary team and to support the multidisciplinary team in the development of staff in clinical areas and to deliver a clinical education programme in formal teaching setting.

promoting the concepts of:

interdisciplinary team working, person-centred and trauma informed care and the development of Mental Health and Learning Disability clinical skills.
