The position of administrative assistant consists of being responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations


Tasks

  • Travel bookings for the team, to including national and international travel. Using the company policy guidelines
  • Provide assistance in terms of logistics to events, seminars, conference and trade shows which will need sporadic international travel
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records and manage database systems, arranging printing
  • Working with the internal events team
  • Preparing documents as needed, agendas, research, compile data, letters and other documents using word processing and spreadsheets
  • Assisting the Director of Administration in a range of duties
  • Attending in person/online meetings and recording minutes
  • Provide assistance in terms of online and client facing events

Qualifications and requirements

  • Previous Administrative work
  • Travel booking experience would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to selfmanage work load and time and proactive approach
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and actively look for ways to help people
  • Effective and efficient approach to work and be able to think ahead and problem solve.
  • Be able to travel on odd occasion for UK based meetings for the business generally in London or the South
