Our highly skilled and creative workforce is comprised of individuals drawn from a broad cross section of the globe, who reflect a variety of backgrounds, talents, perspectives and experiences that help to build our global learning community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Marketing and Communications department to lead the UK Marketing and Student Recruitment team, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

You will lead and manage the University's UK marketing and student recruitment team, developing and implementing innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies and campaigns which maximise BU's potential to meet its UK recruitment targets for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

You will also provide leadership and strategic development of the University's schools liaison activity, working with other University stakeholders to support the delivery of the activities, policies and practices set out in the University's Access and Participation Plan.

This is demanding and exciting role that requires strategic direction, extensive marketing and student recruitment experience, as well as in-depth knowledge and experience of access and participation in higher education.

You will have exceptional management and leadership skills and the ability to inspire your team to deliver on target in an increasingly competitive market.

BU values and is committed to an inclusive working environment.

We seek a diverse community through attracting, developing and retaining staff from different backgrounds to contribute to inspirational learning, advancing knowledge and enriching society.

To support and enable our staff to achieve a balance between work and their personal lives, we will also consider proposals for flexible working or job share arrangements.
