Cygnet Health Care are excited to announce a fantastic Buyer Administrator opportunity for an organised, inquisitive & collaborative individual.
First and foremost, we are seeking a Buyer administrator who is looking to start or progress a career within Procurement.
Our Buyers work closely with key stakeholders, to understand the requirements and targets of the business and service users within our care.
Previous Procurement experience is not required as we provide on-the-job training and coaching, which will teach you all about indirect strategic procurement within the fast paced healthcare sector.
The most important thing is that you have good administrative skills, are a clear communicator, and are willing to learn.
Purpose:
Responsibilities:
Help drive strategic change within the Transactional Procurement category, consolidating spend across multiple business units to drive cost efficiencies. Help to analyse and prepare business cases, and implement procurement led improvements with this sector. Support colleagues and stakeholders in contract management of key suppliers. Improve supplier performance. Actively manage suppliers and cost base.
Overall, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the mission, vision and values of the company.
