Description

Our client is an established and highly respected Automotive supplier based in Banbury that plays a key part in the UK automotive industry supply chain.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they now require an additional Supply Chain Administrator to jointheir experienced and growing team reporting directly to the Supply Chain Analyst.

This role is responsible for ensuring that you fully support and schedule all customers and suppliers and ensure that inventory records and levels are maintained in line withcompany policy and procedure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure ontime deliveries of customer orders and ontime materials procurement through supply chain management.
  • Inventory control and management, optimizing inventories
  • Analyse customer forecast for demand variation and recovery
  • Forecasting for planning capacities and materials, generating Works orders in conjunction with production cell planning.
  • Check and Maintain basic BOM and other Parameters in the Materials System (Sage) in case of product changes, new product launches, and runouts.
  • Fit all requirements of customers, suppliers and internal customers
  • Document all premium inbound and outbound shipments and set up action plans to root cause and countermeasure premium spend
  • Analyse stock adjustment requests and provide a root cause analysis to establish problems and avoid further instances
  • Involvement in identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor supply chain performance and work with suppliers to ensure improvements are made.
  • Work with purchasing and manage poorperforming suppliers.
  • Aptitude to analyse data with accuracy

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience as a Supply Chain Administrator is essential.
  • Previous experience within the automotive sector is preferred but not essential.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft package skills including Excel and Word.

Additional Information

  • This is a fulltime, permanent role working Monday to Friday 8 am 4 pm with flexibility on start and finish times.
  • Life assurance 2 x annual salary.
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
