Our clients include major airlines, global retailers, travel management companies and rail companies. In addition, the Company provides services at major cultural and sporting events and conferences.We deliver our services through a diverse supply chain of over 1,500 bus, coach and taxi suppliers.
First Travel Solutions are looking to strengthen the Vehicle Recruitment team due to unprecedented work volumes across rail, events and private bookings.
Purpose of the Role
You will work with the Lead Vehicle Recruiter and the team, along with the wider Operations team to procure coaches and taxis for our clients.
You will have a key role in meeting the high standards expected by our clients and your internal customers, considering performance quality and safety in addition to efficiency and best value.
Skills and Experience**A good standard of general education is required, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels. Excellent organisational, prioritisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills will also be key in this role. You will need to be calm under pressure and a strong team player.
The successful applicant will have a good geographical knowledge and that of specific rail networks across the UK.
Ideally, you will also have experience of recruiting vehicles (both taxis and coaches), and have an understanding of the key components to consider when allocating our work to our suppliers.
