Development Manager - Essex Based

Permanent, Full Time

Up to £48,728 per annum

Job Purpose:

Promote health and safety, environmental sustainability and quality management in a positive and constructive manner.
Lead on appraising land for acquisition, assess the nature and extent of market failures to support business case development, and lead on securing planning and other consents.
Lead on the negotiation of funding, promotion and development agreements, supporting the clients Legal and Finance teams to complete transactions.
Lead on appointing and contract managing design and technical consultants during RIBA Stages 0 to
Advise on the marketfacing aspects of scheme development, ensure that premises meet occupier needs to maximise financial and nonfinancial outcomes, and oversee sales and marketing for lettings and disposals.
Ensure that internal and external colleagues are clear of their direction, and role model behaviours to ensure that teams are highly motivated and productive to deliver successful outcomes.
Ensure that strong budgetary control and financial management is undertaken throughout your areas of responsibility, and produce robust evidence of progress, efficiency and value for money.
Proactively identify and manage risks, prioritising what is most important and urgent.
