Are you interested in becoming a fully qualified Planner? Do you have Level 3 Qualifications (e.g. A Levels/BTEC) and/or relevant work experience and working or willing to work towards obtaining a degree qualification in Town Planning?

If so, then come and join a supportive Development Management team at one of the leading and busiest planning authorities in England.


A basic working knowledge of the planning system, terminology and the structure and functions of local government is essential for this role, together with an understanding of core policies and procedures related to Planning.

This is a new role which will be working closely with the Development Manager on a digital project which delivers a great new digital tool for our customers.

You must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience of working with database systems would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone willing to learn and develop, with good interpersonal skills, a commitment to excellent customer services, a flexible approach to work together with the ability to work to very strict deadlines.
