**Maintenance Manager - Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

Location:
Lincolnshire**
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000

The Company:


Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the Factory Manager, production management team, HS&E Advisor, Technical and HR.


The role:


You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities within the engineering team who respond to production breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance, maintain the effluent plant, prioritise fault finding and carry out general repairs.


  • Responsible for all daytoday engineeringbased activities
  • Responsible for, 2 Engineering Team Leaders, 6 engineers across three shifts and a mechanic.
Production takes place on Monday through to Friday (main hours are 6.00am through to 5.00pm).


Responsibilities:


  • Establishing priorities for the team
  • Overseeing the PPM system.
  • Implementing improvement projects across the site and driving a proactive culture within the team.
  • Managing and coordinating engineering activities.
  • People and performance monitoring.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
  • City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications:


  • Engineering Degree or similar.
  • Food Hygiene and HACCP Qualification.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety.
  • IOSH Managing Safely, or higher.

The successful applicant must have demonstrable experience of:

  • Managing or supervising an Engineering department in a complex and fast-moving environment.
  • Implementing engineering systems and procedures to drive and improve operational efficiencies, productivities, and capability.
  • Coaching, motivating, and developing a team to improve colleague engagement and meet the increasing demands of a growing business.
  • Cost control and reduction.
  • The use of Engineering KPI's to identify key variances from budget on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing continuous improvement measures.
  • Computer skills.
