This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Business Support Officer to join an expanding service covering the West Midlands region.

The Intensive Residential Outreach Care (IROC) service is a new and unique service aimed to support the needs of young people in care with complex psychological vulnerabilities.

The MDT comprises Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Family and Systemic and Nursing Colleagues. This provision is hosted under the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative programme.

The IROC is a rapidly expanding and evolving service working to create meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable young people within the West Midlands through psychologically informed support.

We focus on admission avoidance across relevant pathways within the West Midlands Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

To support/lead the administrative and secretarial service to the IROC service.

To provide operational day to day support to the Business support and Development Manager.

To support collection, analysis and management of service evaluation and outcomes data.


The post holder will provide business support to the IROC team, to assist in the delivery of safe and effective services within the team, ensuring that all targets, deadlines and objectives are delivered as appropriate.

A hybrid working pattern means that you will be required to be in the office a certain amount of days per week as well as remote working.

These requirements will be discussed at interview with the recruiting manager.


Intensive Residential Outreach Care (IROC) is a new and unique approach to young people in care with complex psychological needs and vulnerabilities.

This project sits under the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative programme with funding available over the next three years to develop a regional service.


The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative and secretarial duties, which include the receipt of all correspondence, booking of patient medical appointments, attendance at designated meetings recording accurate notes.

Additionally, the role includes inbox monitoring, reporting and other correspondence as required by the Core team.
