Programme ManagerLocation**:
Remote working with regular meetings in London and monthly meetings in Malvern


Contract Type: 3-year fixed term


Hours:
Part time, 21 to 28 hours per week

Salary:
£38,000 to £43,000 (including £6,000 London Weighting) pro rata per annum


Benefits: 25 days per annum plus public holidays (pro rata), employer contribution to pension scheme of 10% of salary, flexible working, access to Employee Assistance Programme, access to training and personal development budget, remote working with regular in person meetings

All work related travel will be reimbursed.


We are looking for someone to join our Grant Making Team who is passionate about helping women affected by poverty and has a commitment to improving outcomes for them.


As the Programme Manager you will work with women and organisations that support them in Newham and Hackney and you will use co-production to help us understand and develop solutions to gendered poverty in that area.


Summary of responsibilities for our Programme Manager Role


Supporting the Head of Programmes to coordinate and deliver a 3-year c.£1m programme co-designed grants fund which will award grants and provide support to two local partnerships.

Supporting the co-production process through working with grant partners, community organisations, etc and identify elements of best practice in approaches to tackle the root causes of gendered poverty.

Supporting Smallwood to shift power to advance inclusion.

  • Outline the main steps you would take to build trust with frontlines women's organisations to encourage their involvement in co-designing a new grants programme?
  • Please tell us what you anticipate might be one of the main challenges that arise during the co-design process and how you mitigate and overcome this?
  • The Women's Budget Group have supported the inception phase research for the advice throughout the project both on a strategic level and for the women's organisations and services themselves. Please outline 2-3 ideas of how you think the Women's Budget Group could add value to the programme.
