AEC is looking to hire a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join our site team in Essex.

As a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor, you will be put through rigorous training at both in-house and on client sites; where you will work towards your qualifications needed to become an Asbestos Surveyor (P402).


Responsibilities

  • Carry out surveys on domestic properties.
  • Entering all information onto a tablet whilst carrying out surveys.
  • Checking and approving reports and making amendments where necessary.
  • Fully understand legislation surrounding surveying.
  • Be fully competent in carrying out different types of surveys.
  • Develop your skill set and move onto commercial properties and then industrial
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the general public.

What we are looking for?
In order to make a great Surveyor, we look for the following and teach the rest:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Enthusiasm to train and succeed as an Asbestos Analyst
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and away from home when required
  • Understanding of the construction sector/trades is beneficial
