AEC is looking to hire a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join our site team in Essex.

As a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor, you will be put through rigorous training at both in-house and on client sites; where you will work towards your qualifications needed to become an Asbestos Surveyor (P402).

Responsibilities

Carry out surveys on domestic properties.
Entering all information onto a tablet whilst carrying out surveys.
Checking and approving reports and making amendments where necessary.
Fully understand legislation surrounding surveying.
Be fully competent in carrying out different types of surveys.
Develop your skill set and move onto commercial properties and then industrial
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and the general public.

What we are looking for?
In order to make a great Surveyor, we look for the following and teach the rest:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to clients and colleagues at all levels
Enthusiasm to train and succeed as an Asbestos Analyst
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to work in a team
Work well under pressure
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and away from home when required
Understanding of the construction sector/trades is beneficial
