Hywel Dda University Health Board has a new, exciting opportunity for motivated, driven and passionate individuals who would like to join the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department.

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including other support workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, admin and respiratory nurses.

With the development of Therapy Assistant Practitioner posts, successful applicants will deliver rehabilitation for patients with chronic respiratory disease.

We are looking for two individuals to work part time within Hywel Dda.


We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our pulmonary rehabilitation team to work within our Hywel Dda community.

The post holder will provide facilitation of our groups, to include delivery of exercise and relaxation components under supervision of the occupational therapist and physiotherapist.

They will assist with specified clinical duties for example exercise delivery and relaxation as well as administrative tasks, in the provision of an efficient, caring, patient focused service.

They will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team including; physiotherapists, occupational therapists, admin, therapy assistants and respiratory nurses.

The University Health Board proactively supports training and development both as part of internal and external CPD.

The role may involve travelling to and working across other hospital sites in support of service delivery.

Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
