We have a role for a Dispensing Optician/Opical Dispenser to carry out Diabetic Retinal Eye Screening across 4 Optical Practices.

The Retinal Screener will screen patients for diabetic retinopathy.

A friendly community independent opticians in the West Midlands that provide local services and care to all patients.


Job role:

To provide a high standard of care for patients.
To provide an eye screening service for diabetic patients in community.

To support the delivery of a high quality, professional, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.

The work is interesting and demanding and you will be required to work on your own initiative and drive.

You will be required to do Optical Dispensing of frames and lenses when required and some receptionist duties as well as repairs and fittings of spectacles.

The essential criteria for this role includes the requirement to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health Screening (or equivalent).
