Overview:
Mechanical Assembler required for a professional and well established manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Halifax (HX2). The company have a niche and evolving product range and an excellent reputation.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, long standing company supplying their machines to a wide range of industries.

This role consists of fitting and assembling (primarily new) machinery and other sub assemblies, along with adjustments and modifications to existing machines.

You will be part of a skilled team of both mechanical and electrical assemblers in order to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner.

This role is suitable for those looking for a position that varies day to day, is able to be flexible / multi task and is a team player.

The Role:

• Fitting and assembly of bespoke machinery containing: motors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers and bearings
• Read and work from assembly drawings and Bill of Materials
• Work to a high level of detail to ensure machines are produced to a quality standard
• Use various power and hand tools
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support build objectives
• Comply with company standards regarding health and safety and other company guidelines/policies

Requirements:

• Hold a current driving license
• Mechanical fitting / assembly experience (desired)
• Engineering qualification (not essential)
• Willingness to transfer and learn new skills as required for the role
• Have good mechanical dexterity
