We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join a school we are working with as a Teaching Assistant.


As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both teachers and students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic success of our students.


Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing individualized attention to students, and managing classroom behaviour.

Small Group Sessions: Conduct small group activities to reinforce lesson concepts and encourage peer learning.

Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources for lessons, ensuring they are well-organized and readily available.

Student Progress Monitoring: Help monitor student progress and maintain records of their achievements, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians when necessary.

Classroom Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment, fostering an atmosphere conducive to learning.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is mandatory.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
  • Strong organizational skills to assist in preparing teaching materials and managing student records.
  • A patient and adaptable nature to work effectively with students of different abilities and backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
