Reports to:
Production Team Leader
Purpose:
Work as part of a production team to contribute to the effective and efficient site performance through the operation of production plant and equipment to manufacture Nickel Zinc cells and battery modules
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery including loading materials.
- Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures
- Completing routine maintenance activities on factory machinery including setup and basic machine fault rectification.
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
- Effectively monitor production equipment
- Carrying out general duties as assigned by management Carrying out all aspects of line changeover with minimum downtime.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Training colleagues on machinery
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- GCSE's or equivalent
- Experience within a multi skilled manufacturing environment is desirable
- Ability to learn quickly, and to work on own initiative.
- Problem solving ability.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, observing rules and processes affecting their work
- Teamfocused and selfdirected
- Comfortable working with others, open in their dealings with colleagues.
- Contributes to team cohesion and calls on others for help when needed
