The role

As a key newly established senior role, the Head of Communication and Content will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the daily management, development and monitoring of the university's strategy for all student and corporate communications and content.

The postholder will be a talented, creative and passionate individual with extensive experience of managing and delivering communications (internal and external), managing external media relations and delivering on a content strategy.

We are looking for an organised individual with high level liaison and negotiation skills, who will work across multiple departments both within the university and key external partners.

Ideally you will have experience in working within a UK higher education environment, with an in-depth understanding of the student journey, alongside experience of working with external media partners.
