A new opportunity for a CMM Inspector to join a very successful company based in Notttinghamshire. Thecompany specialise in manufacturing parts for the aerospace industry.

They are looking fora CMM Inspector with a manufacturing or production mindset to join their expanding team due to their business rapidly growing.

The Job
Usinginspection measuring equipmentsuch as micrometers, calipers, shadow graph, plug and ring gauges, thread measuring equipment
Select the correct gauge type for the tolerance being checked
Setting and operating CMMs to ensure accurate measurements are taken and then completing inspection reports
Inspections of precision machined components using manual measuring equipment and CMM Machines
Identify and segregate non-conforming products per established procedures
Prepare parts for theNDT department and dimensional Inspection
Manual handling requirement including some heavy lifting work
Help maintain and promote a safe working environment.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
Maintain paper & electronic records.
