Tax Assistant (Mixed Tax)

AJ Chambers are working on a brand-new Tax Assistant position, based in London, for a leading firm of chartered accountants.

The successful applicant will focus on developing their personal tax skills as well as Business Tax, gaining exceptional experience, as well as full study support for the ATT qualification.

The Role:

Preparing annual tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and forms P11Ds/PSAs/ATEDs, nonresident landlords
Dealing with multiproperty rental accounts
Assisting in dealing with Enquiries raised by HMRC
Preparing basic capital gains computations
Drafting replies to client or thirdparty correspondence, seeking further input as appropriate
Preparing other forms etc. as required by HMRC or other third parties
Studying towards ATT/CTA qualification
Solid understanding of taxation software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
The ability to selfmanage and work autonomously
