If you want part time work and come from a finance background this temporary role may be of interest. It's a finance (accounts) admin position supporting the Finance Manager, 2.5 days per week for around 6 weeks. Mainly home based and occasionally working on site near to Leeds University.Job Profile:
Supporting a charity with finance administration tasks and other admin tasks as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Various finance administration duties
- Provide support with routine finance administration, including raising invoices, income recording, reconciliation of card payments and credit control (working with the team to follow up on overdue income)
- Enter data onto computerised accounts system (Xero)
- Coordinate the bimonthly cycle of approvals and payments
- Support the staff team with staff and volunteer expenses claims and ensure they are processed correctly
- Prepare Gift Aid Claims in consultation with the fundraising team and Finance Manager
- Support the Finance Manager to compile financial information for monthly and quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
- Additionally various general Administration tasks
- Manage internal team calendar for team and other events
- Arrange logistics such as travel and accommodation for the staff team;
- Support the team with office and event logistics e.g. booking rooms and meeting
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and all external legal requirements
Key Skills and Qualities:
- A level of finance admin experience is required in line with the aforementioned duties
- Xero experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Good understanding of Excel
- Good communication skills
- Accurate, hard worker
- Excellent written and verbal English
Hours:19 hours across 2.5 days. Mainly working from home.

£12 per hour
Location:
Mainly remote with occasional time in the office and on site initially (short period)
