We are seeking to appoint a number of committed, creative and resilient short break carers, on a bank staff basis, working in a residential short breaks home, alongside an enthusiastic well-established team, caring for young people aged between 8-18 years that have a range of disabilities.

Our short breaks service aims to ensure that its most vulnerable children's needs are met and that their life chances are maximised to enable them to achieve their full potential.
The Council has a strong residential/short breaks service where all of our homes are rated as either good or outstanding.
You should have relevant experience of working with children. Along with this, you should also have the QCF Level 3 or equivalent in residential childcare.You will be part of a team that is committed to inspiring and motivating people in this type of setting to ensure exceptional care for children.
Our Children and Families work in a trauma informed way using our innovative multi-agency partnership model 'Our Way of Working'.
