The Recipe

The Role

  • To be responsible for executing analytical projects, leading project development for data analysis and decision support tools. Overall responsibility for the support of bespoke digital developments (e.g. MS tools and Python solutions).
  • To be responsible for ensuring that Analytical and decision support systems are restored to normal service as soon as possible with mínimal disruption to the business. Operate our cloudbased architectures to maintain efficient and effective use.
  • To build excellent customer relations with key business stakeholders and user base to ensure understanding of business and functional requirements.
  • To be responsible for evaluating, and interpreting business data from multiple sources to identify and implement solutions to help identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with Warburtons own developers and /or external consultants to provide solutions to the business. Build, scale and maintain data pipelines to process daily events into our data warehouses and models
  • To identify, develop and provide user support and training for their business process area.
  • To lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team to achieve the strategy, goals and targets set.

Essential Ingredients

  • Significant IT experience, specifically in business process and systems, ideally gained within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience in building and delivering solutions across, Azure Data Services / Power BI / Power Automate / Microsoft product suite
  • Managing multiple data pipelines and models
  • SQL, Python
  • DevOps environment
  • Experience at a Manager level, ideally with people management experience. Previous responsibility for the training and coaching of others.
  • Knowledge; Demonstrate learning ability to build a broad knowledge of Warburtons critical business processes; Broad knowledge of Warburtons Infrastructure architecture and data sources including SAP;
  • Regularly monitors work carried out by others to ensure tasks are delivered to time, quality and other requirements and makes improvements where required.
  • Excellent communication skills: influential; persuasive; articulate; politically savvy. Gains and maintains attention when speaking to a group of people.
  • Excellent relationship builder: establishing credibility with both internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Customer focus: thinks about the impact on IT's customers of changes to IT services
  • Analysing and problem solving, identifies flaws in analyses, knowing where and when further investigation is required.
  • Decision making: has the confidence to defend decisions appropriately.
