If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing buying team We're looking for dynamic Assistant Buyers and Junior Buyers to become an integral member of our team and take key responsibility within our housewares category, with the opportunity to progress into the more senior position of Buyer.


In this position, you'll be at the heart of our buying process, from shaping product development to ensuring smooth order management.

We're seeking someone with exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills to join our team.

Your role will involve close collaboration with both suppliers and internal teams, all with the exciting aim of bringing beautiful, more sustainable products to market.

K_ey Responsibilities in Buying_**As an Assistant Buyer/Junior Buyer, you will be working as part of a team to provide support to the Buyer and Buying Directors, while working towards being a mentor and training new joiners within your department. You will become responsible for a product category and will be provided with opportunity to travel and attend trade shows/customer meetings across Europe from a product knowledge point of view.

  • Be responsible for a product range or product range(s) from endtoend in the development cycle.
  • Analysing consumer market trends and conducting effective product research.
  • Accurately and diligently manage the supplier base.
  • Working alongside our Brand teams to coordinate product packaging requirements.
  • Liaising with our offices in the Far East and factories to organise product sample.

_What we look for_

  • A degree essential at 2:1 or above. All specialisms considered.
  • Minimum 12 months experience full time within a Buying Assistant or Buying Admin role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Assertive and confident with a proactive approach to work
  • Local to Greater Manchester
