The Role:


  • S:35, month contract
  • Hybrid Working_


We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialsit to assist the accounts payable Team/Manager with smooth running of the accounts payable department on a fixed term basis.


Overview of responsibilities:


  • Senior point of contact within the team for queries
  • Support other members of the accounts payable team as and when required.
  • Working closely with the accounts payable manager on queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations, identifying and following up on any discrepancies.
  • Confidently resolve queries using both written and verbal communication and building strong supplier and internal relationships
  • Ensuring Aged creditors reports are clear and understood
  • Adhering strictly to all month end deadlines

Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:


  • 5 years account payable experience
  • Proven experience of working in a professional team adhering to deadlines
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and a desire for problem solving
  • Accurate and logical approach to work
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
  • Working well with others and being an integral part of the team
  • Microsoft 365 skills preferable but not essential
  • Intermediate excel skills required
