The Demand Planner is responsible for effectively managing product changes, maximising forecasting accuracy on all products within portfolio and driving continuous improvements.


The Demand Planner will have accountability for several regions/countries and will successfully plan the demand of the injectable products sourced from US contract manufactures/packers, ensuring the needs of the patients are met whilst meeting desired service targets and minimizing inventory.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Responsible for 100% service to patients for agreed portfolio of markets/SKU combinations
  • Responsible to optimise inventory levels. Establish, maintain, and review target stock levels and safety stock and minimise stock expiry and write off.
  • Accountable to lead the monthly S&OP Process with the Indivior commercial and finance teams to align on volume forecasts and implementations for the next rolling 1824 months.
  • Closely monitor and revise forecast in accordance with sales history analysis and trends, ensuring accuracy measures are met and continuously improved.
  • Ensure all weekly sales and inventory loads are accurate and completed in a timely manner to allow for continuous monitoring and analysis of weekly data to drive continuous improvement of forecasts and stock coverage.
  • Challenge the 'status quo' with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with incountry prewholesalers /distributors to ensure a seamless product flow.
  • Manage new launches and existing developments from a demand perspective, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
  • Take active lead and ownership in case an emergency needs to be resolved.
  • Actively manage together with other involved functions phasein and phaseout of products / components for any product change or launch project
  • Play a key role in the development of the process and systems architecture to support an efficient supply chain and ensure patient supply.
  • Ensure global SAP processes are strictly adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIANCE:


  • Proven record in process improvement on crossfunctional projects
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in Demand planning with ability to prepare & lead S&OP discussions
  • High level of numeracy and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy with detailed analysis, whilst working within a deadline driven environment
  • The ability to assume responsibility for tasks and workload, and work using own initiative
  • A desire to take on more responsibility and develop your role
  • ERP experience (SAP/IBP advantageous)
  • Degree calibre with strong command of English (verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of operating in a GxP pharmaceutical environment including QMS management
