Job Introduction:

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Procurement Officer, to join the Commercial team.

Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

Supporting the Procurement Manager to deliver a quality service to the authority
Managing a portfolio of requirements from concept to delivery with internal stakeholders
Facilitating compliance with our contract standing orders and Procurement best practice aligned to the Public Contracting Regulations;
Working with stakeholders to identify their requirements, timelines, routes to market and evaluation criteria;
Acting as first point of contact for queries / managing the Procurement Inbox

Are you someone who has excellent report writing and presentational skills, experience in procurement and ultimately always focuses on delivery?
