Our client:


Our client are one of the largest Housing Associations in the South East of England and are looking for a Senior Projects Manager to join their busy organisation.


Main purpose of the role:


You will be providing professional project management and surveying/inspections services to the capital delivery of work stream to ensure the investment programmes are delivered in a timpley and professional manner ensuring the correct planning, deliveryand execution of the programmes quantities, quality and budgets to minimise business and customer risk.


Main duties & responsibilities:


  • To carry out the contract programme planning, planning, impact assessments, risk mapping, dependencies mapping and implementation project delivery in order to execute efficient onsite management and delivery of investment works projects
  • Working and supporting the HoPS ensure that all project management data, dependencies, resourcing plans and programme plans are in format that can be utilised for a projectbased Capital delivery programme management function.
  • Assisting the HoPS that the organisations technical contractual requirements are met on site whilst ensuring financial, quantity and quality standards are met.
  • Working with the HoPS and Project Surveyor to analyse and assess contractors performance in relation to programme, quality, run rate quantities and value for money and make written recommendations to be addressed at contract meetings.

Ideal person specification:


  • Experience of construction and building, maintenance and major repair improvement programmes
  • Competent experience in delivering multi disciplinary and complex projects
  • Experience of working within the construction and\or building sector
  • Project management experience of onsite supervision of major contracts and experience of investment works with customers in their own homes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing size at any one time
  • Good knowledge of regulatory and governance standards
  • Able to travel to meet the requirements of the role
  • Willing and able to participate in the out of hours emergency roster
