We are looking to recruitment enthusiastic and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join the team at our newly refurbished Nursing Home in Waunarlwydd.


Moorlands opened in December 2023 after being taken over by a small family run business with over 20years experience in providing exceptionally standards of care for people with Mental Health and Complex needs.

There was some significant investment made to make changes to the building and layout which positively impacts the environment to live and work in.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
  • Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

Experience:


  • Prior experience in home care or care homes is advantageous
  • Ability to drive to different locations as needed
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£11.50-£13.00 per hour
