Nitron are a global manufacturer of premium racing car, motorcycle and OEM suspension with our international headquarters located right in the heart of England's well-known 'Motorsport Valley' in Witney, Oxfordshire.

We also boast distribution and assembly operations in Japan with over 70 percent of Nitron's production being exported with our main focus of sales being into North America.

To this end, a new and exciting US company is being established to cover this territory.

We are now seeking to appoint a Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team, working in the Shock Absorber Production Department

We are looking for someone who will have a constructive input as we set up a new stock control and stock taking system.

Our modern, bright and spacious brand new purpose-built building has on-site parking.

We are situated very close Witney with easy access to main transport links as well as local shops and facilities.

You will be responsible for:

Working very closely with the purchasing, planning and production departments
Unpacking, checking deliveries and booking goods in
Accurate picking of component kits for shock absorber production
Organising stores to follow the new stocking system
Carrying out rolling stock take on critical parts on a regular basis and recording this data
Liaising with other departments on a continual basis
Assisting the packing department on an occasional basis
Keeping the stores, despatch and goods in area clean and tidy
Collecting parts and making local deliveries to subcontractors on an adhoc basis

No previous suspension or shock absorber knowledge is required

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience of working in a stores environment and be used to working methodically to a high degree of accuracy with mínimal guidance
Strong organisational and detailfocused skills are essential
The ability to work on your own initiative
Tidy, organised with an excellent timekeeping and attendance
A very flexible attitude
Smart and presentable appearance
