£10,670 - £11,327 per year

As a Pupil Support Assistant your role will be varied, challenging and interesting. You will support individual pupils, groups and larger class groups, in collaboration with the class teacher/Pupil Support Teacher.

You will work with children both in the classroom, and outside during break/lunch, if required.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling you to engage with pupils at an appropriate level in order to support their learning and development across the curriculum.

A knowledge of inclusive practice, and prior experience (paid or voluntary) of working with children, will enable you to support all pupils, and particularly those with additional support/learning needs.

Whilst this role is being advertised as fixed -term, there may be scope for this to be extended.


The Individual:


You will work flexibly and creatively to meet the needs of learners, and will demonstrate initiative when working independently or as part of the wider team.

You will have a positive, enthusiastic outlook.
