Gourley Veterinary Surgeons are looking for a
Senior Vet to join the team.
We are a multi-site, well established, 1st opinion, RCVS Accredited, small animal practice, based in and around Tameside and Manchester, with a passion and dedication to providing the highest quality of care.
The main site, in Ashton-Under-Lyne, is in an excellent location and has a tram, bus and train station within easy walking distance.
_The practice is due for a full refurb this year_ You will only be 5 minutes away from a beautiful Country park and close to the foothills of the stunning Peak District National Park, which is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
If you prefer a little more hustle and bustle, Manchester city centre is only 10 minutes away by train, or 20 minutes by car.
Manchester International airport is only a 20-minute drive away too
You will be joining an experienced and dedicated team, of 7 Vets, which includes certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery and Ophthalmology, and you will be fully supported by a large, friendly and experienced Nursing and clinical support team.
This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, who is capable and confident of working sole charge alongside a small clinical team, with surgical experience in routine procedures and who possesses good communication skills.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week, over 4 days, including 1 in 5 Saturdays 9am - 4pm.
