My client is an award-winning leading developer, owner, and operator of bespoke, luxury student accommodation, residential, and commercial property across the UK.

They have been operating for over 30 years and currently have 15 operational student accommodationschemes in 8 major cities, with additional impressive projects currently under construction.


Currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Management Accountant to join the busy finance team based at our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business.

The main purpose of the role is tobe the lead accountant on a number of entities within the business, covering all aspects of reporting and financial management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of quarter end financial statements
  • Compilation of the quarter end management accounts pack
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Dealing with recharges across the business
  • Overseeing the entities' credit control, cash, and review of bookkeeping entries
  • Assisting with management information reporting
  • VAT/CIS returns
  • Providing external auditors with information and handling queries

Key Requirements:


  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and manage your own time effectively
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A strong technical and practical working knowledge of management accounts
  • First class communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional qualification ideal, not essential
