Job Title:
Senior Storesperson

Location:
Portland, Dorset

Salary:
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Responsible for:

Being part of the UK Wastewater Services team carrying out duties to assist a team of engineers with a range of tasks in the engineering yard as instructed by your supervisor/engineers on site.

Competence:

This opportunity would suit somebody with practical skills, who likes being part of a hardworking team, has good interpersonal & communication abilities plus has numeracy and literacy skills.

Physical & Other Requirements:

Previous stores/warehouse experience essential.
May hold a current valid driving licence.
Able to work outside on sites which are connected with wastewater (sewage).
Able to carry out work tasks that involve physical strength, stamina, standing, kneeling or crouching.

Competence and Qualifications:

Good general level of education including maths and English.

Skills & Attributes:

Knowledge/Interest in engineering and how things work
IT literate good computer skills
Good communication skills and customer service skills
A desire to work on industrial equipment/engineering equipment
Evidence of being a hard worker (i.e. from work experience, parttime jobs or from school activities)
Able to communicate effectively to company management and staff.
To work as part of a team and to cooperate with other staff
Conduct all the work activities in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the company.
