CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our Christchurch, Dorset based client at a time of expansion for this £10M T/O business.

Our client has a requirement for an Accounts Assistant join their small finance function on a permanent basis, you will report into the Financial Controller within this role.

This is a varied position where you will be responsible for ensuring all financial data is correct and up to date within this all-encompassing transactional finance role.

This opportunity is offered on a part time basis, ideally 20-25 hours per week.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • Processing of all purchase ledger, sales ledger invoices including all associated query resolution;
  • Ensuring all sales ledger activity is processed correctly;
  • You will be working on and completing reconciliations on a weekly basis;
  • Assisting in VAT returns and month end preparations.
  • You will be confident with endtoend purchase ledger processing, sales ledger and also low volume credit control;
  • Ideally have knowledge of using various accounting packages and be a confident Excel user;
  • Our client is looking for a long term appointment so the desire become an integral part of a team;
  • Training will be provided on our clients bespoke system, you will need to be able to process some accounts manually.
