Zenith People are working closely with our client who are a Manufacturer based here in the North East and are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.

Duties will include carrying out Preventative, Reactive & Planned Maintenance on machinery within a High-Volume Manufacturing environment.

The person we are looking for:

HNC in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or similar
Time served as an apprentice (mechanical/ electrical)
Experience of working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic machinery
Be able to work own initiative
Good basic Fault Finding & Diagnostic Skills
Previous experience (proven) of working in High Volume Manufacturing
Experience with electronics & PLCs would be an advantate
Positive Mindset
Excellent communication skills
Organised and methodical with a result driven approach
Flexible with good decision making and problemsolving skills
Personable and approachable
A basic understanding of computer packages such as Microsoft Word & Excel
Preferably have knowledge/qualified in 18th Edition Wiring Regs
Preferably have experience working with Robots & General Automation experience
