JOB SUMMARY

To exceed guest's expectation, and provide Marriott high service, by ensuring that the guest receives a pleasant and memorable dining experience.

To possess extensive knowledge of all food and drinks supplied and to assist Manager in general duties and in providing an effective service in the guest bedroom according to the Company standards.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position.

This job description sets out the current duties of the job role that may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the job or the level of responsibility entailed.

Open and close shift in accordance with manager's checklist:

Train, maintain and enforce all Marriott service standards using use records, menus and appropriate reference materials

Properly execute revenue and check control procedures on shift

Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates and guests

Conduct taste panels and menu classes on a daily basis for restaurant and room service

Develop and oversee In-Room Dining tray pickup system

Ensure department service guarantees are honored at all times

Attend and conduct meetings as required

Ensure all side-work is done on a daily basis

Manage an effective repair and maintenance program through the use of work orders, inspections, etc

Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management

Promote awareness of health, safety and security within the department for associates and guests (e.g. fire alert points, exits, extinguishers, table clips etc.)

Carry out any other duty/function that may be assigned by the immediate manager:
