About The Role:

Synergize provides responsive maintenance and project works to Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing estates across London, Kent, and the Home Counties. We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Complaints Coordinator to support housing repairs, disrepair cases, and voids work across the MOD estate.

This role is key to ensuring a high standard of service for MOD housing families, supporting our "families first" ethos and maintaining strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating customer complaints relating to housing repairs and disrepair. Working closely with housing teams, contractors, and MOD housing families, you will ensure complaints are handled professionally, efficiently, and in line with policy and contractual requirements.

You will maintain accurate case records, track progress, and ensure timely resolutions while delivering clear and empathetic communication to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage customer complaints relating to housing repairs, disrepair, and voids

· Act as a point of contact for MOD housing families regarding complaint cases

· Liaise with internal teams and contractors to progress and resolve issues

· Ensure responses are compliant, timely, and of a high standard

· Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and case notes

· Monitor trends and escalate recurring issues where necessary

· Support service improvement through effective complaint management

· Needs to explain SLA deadline of 10 days to manage complaint through to completion

· Identify trends/root causes; produce weekly insight; support "lessons learned" actions

· Broaden the scope beyond complaints only – position the role as managing complaints and high-profile/priority jobs

About You:

· Previous experience working within a council, local authority, or MOD housing environment

· Proven experience handling housing repairs and disrepair complaints

· Strong administrative and organisational skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Confident managing multiple cases and deadlines

· Professional, empathetic, and solution-focused approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
