Role:
Shift Process Operator
We are currently looking to recruit a
Shift Process Operator to join our solvent recovery and chemical manufacturing business based in Middlewich.
This role requires an individual who has high attention to detail and can strictly follow the instructions on the batch production sheet.
Working hours:
Continental shift pattern, 4 days on followed by 4 days off, 12 hours per shift.
Salary on offer:
£28K, including shift allowance
The main responsibilities of this role are
- Operating the production equipment as instructed in the production batch sheet.
- Take inprocess samples, carry out tests, and record results in the batch production sheet.
- Follow strict EHS procedures to always ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Supply batch samples to the QC laboratory as requested.
- Report problems with the production equipment to Shift Supervisor.
- Loading & offloading product to reactors, tankers, and other containers.
- Operate FLT
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Essential Requirements
- Good numerical, written and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Team Player
Desirable Requirements
- Chemical industry experience
- A valid forklift truck licence
- Computer literate including Excel/Word
Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Middlewich, CW10 0QF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
