The role

The difference our new Mechanical Technician will make
As a Mechanical Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll assembly and fit high quality mechanical equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Day to day, you'll use assembly and fitting hand tools, read and work to engineering drawings and technical manuals, strip, survey and the production of written survey reports and record serial numbers and measurement of critical dimensions.

This role is based Onsite in Whetstone, Leicester.

Essential experience

Must be willing to work in a Production environment in Whetstone, Leicester
Must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role
Excellent use of assembly and fitting hand tools
Able to read and work to engineering drawings and technical manuals
Experience of strip, survey and the production of written survey reports
A sound understanding of traceability and compliance
Recording of serial numbers and measurement of critical dimensions
