Description
Our Night Porter/ Housekeeper will perform various functions to keep guesthouse running, keeping rooms and its environment clean, attractive, and comfortable to our temporary accommodation guests.
- Assist and report any requests from guests, as well as from other departments to management
- Checking in guests/ turning rooms over when guests leave
- Replace used amenities in guest rooms
- Provide clean linens and towels to guests
- Wash, organise and iron dirty linen, and removing trash
- Perform checks on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
- Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them
- Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
- Provide a report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to the manager
- Hourly patrols around building
- Successfully complete training and certification programs in safety
- Ensure flammable materials are properly stored
- Keep information Confidential
- Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and dealing with guests
