Description
As a Recovery Assistant/Porter you will work as an essential part of the UHB team.

The focus of the role is to support the Recovery and Perioperative team with non-clinical tasks in the Perioperative Directorate.

Staff will need to cover all service tasks as required to cover absence of others.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Collecting patients and returning them to and from theatre.

Collecting beds and other equipment from the wards and departments

Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the recovery department

Collecting blood from the blood bank and returning at the end of the day.

Distributing specimens to the labs ensuring that the correct specimens go with the necessary forms.
