    We are seeking a highly-skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team at {company}. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing firmware components for products in an Embedded Linux environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing firmware components for products in an Embedded Linux environment.
    • Working across a multidisciplinary team, potentially mentoring with more junior members of the engineering team.
    • Technical documentation to be presented to internal and external stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Degree in relevant engineering discipline or the equivalent relevant experience.
    • Solid experience developing firmware for Embedded Linux or an RTOS using C.
    • Understanding of power and clocking systems in modern 32-bit microcontroller architectures.
    • Experience debugging at hardware level, using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analysers.

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in Embedded Linux development and a solid understanding of low-power design philosophy. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to present technical documentation to both internal and external stakeholders.

    Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Location: Bedfordshire.

    Work Pattern: Hybrid.
