Business Receptionist - Taunton, Somerset

Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pm


This award-winning mortgage advisory and financial services firm is seeking a Business Receptionist to assist with the smooth running of their reception area.


When you first walk into their modern and luxurious offices, you will see a bright and welcoming reception area with floor to ceiling meeting pods for a more open, client focused feel.

Upstairs you will find the offices, all open plan with lots of naturallight and space to collaborate with other departments.

On your lunch break or before or after work you can utilise their stunning fully equipped gym with showers and changing room facilities or recharge in their spacious and relaxing staff room with wide screenTV, comfy sofas and fruit baskets.


Day to day you will be based on their impressive reception, this is a bright and comfortable space with plenty of room.

On occasion you will be joined by a Client Relationship Manager, but predominantly this will be your space to run and be proud of.


Could this be your next career move?

  • You will be responsible for answering the phone and dealing with queries.
  • You will meet and greet visitors to the office providing them with refreshments.
  • You will organise and distribute the daily post.
  • You will ensure the reception area always looks tidy and professional.
  • You will maintain the diary for the meeting rooms.
  • You will ensure replenishment's are always stocked.
  • You will assist with administration duties.
  • You will be using MS Word and Outlook regularly and update the CRM system.

You will be able to use the following competencies in the role:

Customer Service - being the first point of contact for many visitors you will be able to provide an approachable and friendly service.


Organised - you can plan your day and week, prioritising important tasks, moving these around as and when required and keeping on top of your workload.


Professional and presentable - you will take pride in your presentation and the overall look / feel of the business reception area.


Teamwork - you will be supporting the wider team on a daily basis so will be able to liaise confidently and amiably.


Is this you?
Preferably you will have a strong customer / client service background and be a confident communicator.

You will have good job continuity and may have attained your customer care skills in a hospitality, retail or office based environment.
