Charity People are delighted to be working in partnership with the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) to recruit an Individual Giving Officer.

A newly created role, you will be responsible for managing a range of marketing campaigns to acquire new supporters, develop supporter journeys and launch a legacy stewardship programme.

The EIA investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their focus is the protection of wildlife, forests, oceans and climate.

They turn the evidence they gather in the field into hard-hitting reports targeted at authorities who can make a difference, and campaign for new legislation, improved governance and effective enforcement.


This is an exciting time to be joining the small but highly talented Fundraising team at EIA as they develop their five-year organisational strategy to defend the natural world from environmental crime and abuse and secure lasting change in the world.


The Role

The Individual Giving Officer will lead on the delivery of a broad mix of individual giving areas and channels, including digital marketing and offline supporter journey development, legacy marketing, stewardship and events and new supporter acquisition.

You will contribute to the delivery of the individual giving strategy, work closely with the Individual Giving Manager on selecting supporter data to ensure campaigns are targeted to maximise engagement, and work with campaign teams to develop effective legacy stewardship journeys.


You would have strong campaign management and planning skills, strong written communications and experience of writing completing and engaging copy along with a good understanding of digital marketing and social media.

Furthermore, you will be an energetic self-starter, able to work on your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.
