Chartered Building Surveyor

Newcastle

£45,000 to £50,000 plus generous package

Due to the continuing success and growth of our client, a well established and financially stable consultancy, we are now looking for a talented Chartered Building Surveyor to join the companies Building Surveyor team working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy office environment.

Based in Newcastle, the role offers a clear career path for ambitious individual within a progressive and friendly work culture.

As a Building Surveyor, you will work with a wide range of clients, managing their property portfolios, projects and transactions.

You will be responsible for providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment. This will include work for commercial, education, residential, leisure and health clients.

ROLE:

Building surveys: condition surveys, schedules of condition, defects diagnosis inspections, detailed measured surveys.
Measured surveys: preparation of floor plans, elevations, and details on AutoCAD (must be AutoCAD proficient).
Building pathology: identifying building defects and failures and developing solutions including advice on estimated costs and programme.
Property management: preparation of planned maintenance programmes including elemental cost preparation.
CDM services (desirable but not essential) preparation of preconstruction information and health and safety files.

CANDIDATE:

Building Surveyor, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (essential).
Building Surveying BSc or BSc (Hons) degree.
Competency in using AutoCAD and measured survey
Knowledge of refurbishment and alteration of existing buildings
Relevant building surveying consultancy experience
Desire to progress your career with a leading regional consultancy
Full UK driving licence
