As a CNC Turner Machinist for B&B Attachments you will use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools to cut, drill, shape and finish products and components used in the build of our products.

Duties include:
- Planning the most efficient sequence of operations for the job
- Selecting the appropriate cutting tools for each cut
- Selecting the right cutting speeds
- Setting tolerances
- Positioning the section for each cut
- Converting instructions into a numerically based program for the computer to follow
- Checking that work meets quality and technical guidelines
- Routine maintenance of machine tools
Role Requirements:
- To understand engineering drawings and instructions
- Experience in use of Mazatrol programming
- Experience using Mazak machines
- To be able to visualise finished products
- An understanding towards the properties of the materials you work with
- Examine raw material for dimensions, quantity, defects, and required heat lot/certification numbers
- Inspect finished work to verify dimensions and meet specifications
- Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to
- Ability to work to a 2 shift pattern alternating weekly between day shift and afternoon shift
Skill Requirements:
- Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication
- Experience of CNC work or CNC qualification from a college or technical school
- Live tooling experience would be advantageous
- An understanding of the properties of the materials you work with
